Inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s Parisian memoir chapter “A Matter of Measurements,” this play explores the infamous moment when F. Scott Fitzgerald confided in Hemingway about his insecurities, leading to a humorous and surreal journey from a Parisian bar bathroom to the Louvre. Filling in the gaps Hemingway left untold, the piece reimagines what might have happened through a mix of wit, history, and theatrical invention.
